Screw cap (PPS, black) with interior comprising clamping ring (PPS), sealing wedge and sealing plate (both made of PTFE) and additional O‑ring (FKM) for screwed connections for hose outer Ø smaller than 3 mm (without coming into contact with flow medium).High chemical resistance since medium only comes into contact with PTFE. Temperature stable -50 °C up to +250 °C.
Pressure stable up to max. 10 bar, suitable for use in a vacuum.
Application
For connecting apparatus and fittings with GL thread to hard-walled hoses made of glass, plastic or metal. For fixing in place probes, thermometers, immersion tubes and cable feeds that have been inserted in reaction vials.
